Prospect Congregational Church, UCC A Place for You...

Fundraising Activity

Welcome to our fundraising page. Below you will see a list of highlighted fundraisers for the Prospect Congregational Church. Our church uses fundraisers to support local and wider church missions, community events, special projects and buildings & grounds maintenance to name a few.

At the bottom of the page is a donate button.  This is a secure way to support the efforts of our church.  If you make a donation you will be able to specify where you would like that donation to go once you are on the PayPal site.  You do not need a PayPal account to donate.  PayPal also allows you to pay with a credit card or debit card.  Your donations are very much appreciated and tax deductible!

Elevator Project

For many years the church has entertained the idea of making the church fully handicapped accessible.  We started by adding a handicapped accessible rest room to the main floor of the building that is accessible via the Sanctuary.  The church does have a wheelchair accessible ramp at the front of the church entrance into the Sanctuary that has allowed handicapped accessibility to the Sanctuary, nursery school and the ladies parlor.  In 2013 - 2014 the church sponsored a Capital Campaign to raise funds to install an elevator in the church that would take members and guests to all levels of the church.

Construction of this elevator began on June 16, 2015 and was completed in early fall 2015.  As you might expect, we are very excited about this project.  It will allow our members and guests from the wider community who cannot navigate stairs to be able attend all events at the church.  It will also allow access to our church office and Pastor as well as our food pantry.  If you would like to help financially with this project, you may make a donation using the PayPal button below.  Please make sure to specify in the Message/Special Instructions box in PayPal that you would like your donation to go to the Elevator Project.  Thank you so very much for your support!
