Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees (BOT) consists of 12 members plus the Treasurer and the Financial Secretary. The BOT has the following responsibilities:
- Care and maintenance of the church buildings and property. This includes the building cleaning services, performing regular inspections of the church buildings and arranging for repairs and improvements as needed.
- Review the schedule for usage of church buildings.
- Reviewing the church investments and financial holdings with applicable comments and recommendations to the church council.
- Requesting expense input from other boards, committees and responsible groups for developing the annual budget. The draft version of the budget is submitted to the church council for review and approval.
- Receive, on behalf of the church, all memorial gifts, bequests and endowment funds and administer the gifts in accordance with the donor.
- Stewardship sub-committee.
The BOT is a very active group and meets on a monthly basis to conduct the business of the church. Additional meetings are scheduled if required. Church members are encouraged to contact the church office or any member of the BOT if they find any problems or have any concerns with the church buildings or church property.
