Board of Missions

• The Board of Missions and Service shall consist of 9 members elected by the Church, of whom 3 shall be elected annually for term of three years.
• The Board shall promote and coordinate the missions of the church in the world by informing the congregation about the United Church of Christ's charitable and mission activities, plan the church's participation in these activities, and solicit the necessary support.
• It shall be responsible for a program of mission education for the entire church, seeking to provide opportunities and experiences of service, action, work projects, and giving within and beyond the local church.
• It shall be responsible for the promotion of local missions and the distribution of funds for their support.
• It shall coordinate activities and programs related to social issues and the church's participation in issues of justice and peace.
