The Evening Women's Association

This organization is for the women of the Church to grow spiritually with fellowship and friendship. We meet the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm for business (everyone welcome) and 7:30 pm for social meetings.
We hold a yearly holiday bazaar during the Winter, a flea market in the Spring, and many other fund raisers. Proceeds from these events are donated back to the Church for improvements or supplies. Some of our accomplishments include:
- New replacement window's for the Ladies Parlor
- Kitchen rennovations
- New sidewalk
- New carpeting for the santuary
- Front of the Church landscaping
At out monthly meetings we take a collection to support mission projects including the Salvation Army, Elon Home for Children, GWIM Soup Kitchen, and One Great Hour of Sharing. In December we enjoy a Christmas party with fun grab bag gifts as well as gifts for the residents of Country Manor Nursing Home. In the Spring we enjoy a picnic at one of our member's homes before adjouning for the summer.
Our association has provided receptions at the church for funerals, memorials or sharing events. We pride ourselves on doing for others.
